Chondrites
Chondrites are primitive, stony meteorites that represent the oldest and most common building blocks of our solar system, having formed through the accretion of cosmic dust and debris approximately 4.5 billion years ago without experiencing significant melting or planetary differentiation. Their defining characteristic is the presence of chondrules—tiny, spherical mineral droplets that crystallized rapidly in space before coalescing into larger bodies. Because they have remained largely unaltered since the birth of the solar system, chondrites serve as pristine "time capsules" that offer scientists invaluable chemical and chronological clues about the origins of planets and the conditions of the early solar nebula.
